Within the test-period, more than half of the new magazines made use of the different skins, the calendar-functionality or the special content-box. Nearly half of the magazine-owners invited co-editors to create a collaborative magazine. Individualization will become a core-strategy in future and MyTweetMag plans more skins and further personalization-features within the next month.
With the new concept, the berlin startup wants to combine ideas from three different services: “MyTweetMag is easy to use like twitter, with a blog-feeling like tumblr and with a personal note like about.me. This is our strategy for the future”, says Schuermanns.

- Import of headlines and abstracts with twitter-links
- Import of media-files with twitter-links (youtube, vimeo, dailymotion, slideshare, twitpic and yfrog)
- Different skins and individual profile- and stage-pictures
- Customized areas like a calendar and a topic-box.
- A widget and a wordpress-plugin to integrate the stream into external websites
